Default ECU question

1994 Chevy S-10 Blazer Tahoe Lt
4.3l CPI Vortec w/ 4L60-E 4x4 push button tranny

I have been having problems with transmission shifting manually but not automatically so I may have narrowed it down to a failed ECU. The question now is with a OBD1 system would I be able to put a used one in from a salvaged truck without it needing to be reprogrammed.

You could pull a PCM from a junkyard truck. Would probably need a CASE relearn done.
