Engine Code p0573 & p0758
First i would like to introduce myself to the forum. I am mark and i own a 99 blazer with the trailblazer option. Ive always loved blazers and im glad to finally own one. I want to be an active member of this forum with me now owning a blazer. I will keep this post going even after figuring it all out so it can help other people that have the same problem as ive had.
Heres the start of it. I realize it feels like im stuck in a high gear so i go and get my check engine light checked for the codes and have p0753 and p0758. Solenoid A & B Electrical..
Heres what ive done so far.
1st checked my clster fuse for power i have 12v
Dropped my trans pan and pulled my solenoids off and hooked up a ohm reader they are reading 16ohms pulled out of my valve body.
Hooked up a voltage meter to my solenoid plug read 11v for both A&B.
I called a trans shop and they said check the ground if they are grounded then its either the solenoids or the computer.
I do not understand how to check the ground. I by no means is master mechanic but a common diyer.
I would like some advice and a push to tell me what to do next. I will keep posted and post after i figured it out.
I appreciate all the input and look forward to becoming an active member of this forum
Thank You
Mark
