Default Engine part questions

Do the AC compressors on the blazers go out very often? I found this one in my local ad and thought it would be a good idea to maybe keep one around just in case?

I don't know if it's common, but mine is toast right now. Will be replacing it this summer.

who are you asking? OP doesn't have a problem yet, just wants to have one just in case.

if you're asking me, I know it's my compressor. Thanks though.

it depends on the parts that you put in.. you put good parts in, you wont have problems. you put junk in, you will replace it in short time.
but for that price, it might be worth keeping in the garage for later. i know that they arent cheap.
