Is there a problem with the fuel delivery? I'm not familiar with these but what comes to mind is if the fuel delivery is not working as it should. (Is there a return line that is not working? Are the pressures correct?) Or is the ECM getting bad data which is causing it to flood the engine? What are the inputs to the ECM? Are they working as they should? TPI?
I have replaced the fuel tank, pump filter, and rebuilt the tbi. Also i did go through with a multimeter and checked all the sensors and their singnals and grounds. With the exception of the tps. I also have used a vacume pump to suck the map sensor down to idle vacum and it made no difference.
the truck used to run, and it ran for crap, until i replaced the distributer than we started the truck it ran like a dream, but after about a few minutes i shut it off and went in side. Then came back out to take it for test drive and so this began.
