Default Engine starts than floods and acts like key was turned off

I have a 1988 k5 blazer and i just put a new engine in it and it will start and idel very nice, but than it floods unless you crack the throttle and if you do so it will run longer but than it just dies like someone turned the key off. Any ideas?

stuff ive done
Rebuilt tbi, swaped injectors, tried different ecm, new distributer, cap , roter, wires , iridium plugs, esc, map, vacume lines, tepeture sensor, thermostat, fuel pump, and filter.

Is there a problem with the fuel delivery? I'm not familiar with these but what comes to mind is if the fuel delivery is not working as it should. (Is there a return line that is not working? Are the pressures correct?) Or is the ECM getting bad data which is causing it to flood the engine? What are the inputs to the ECM? Are they working as they should? TPI?

I have replaced the fuel tank, pump filter, and rebuilt the tbi. Also i did go through with a multimeter and checked all the sensors and their singnals and grounds. With the exception of the tps. I also have used a vacume pump to suck the map sensor down to idle vacum and it made no difference.

the truck used to run, and it ran for crap, until i replaced the distributer than we started the truck it ran like a dream, but after about a few minutes i shut it off and went in side. Then came back out to take it for test drive and so this began.

UPDATE: I got the truck running it was a ignition coil that worked when i started it and then stopped after a few seconds.
However the truck now runs for crap. cuts in and out and occasionally backfires. any ideas
