Default Engine swap for same size

Hello my name is Zach. Quick backgroud.
I have a 1996 blazer with a new transmission in it. The block is blown. And needs to be replaced. A the time I purchased a Honda for $800, found out my girlfriend is preggo and now we are here..

I'm selling my Honda for $1750 and using most of that for rent and the other half for a new engine to it back into the blazer.

My main question here is.. How hard is the engine swap if its the same size? I know if it is an interesting amount of work. But can this be done. Bait how long does it take? Hours wise?

Does anybody have diagrams on how to perform this??.

Thank you!

on my 91, ive been swapping the 4.3 out because mine was blown as well. the proccess isnt that complicated, but it takes a lot of adjusting and PB blaster if it's rusty like mine. and, if the 2nd gens are like the 1st, you need to remove body mounts to get to the upper bellhousing bolts, which is where i quit last night after a 3 or 4 hours, with still a good bit of work left. if i were you, id buy either a chilton's or a hayne's guide for the blazer, and it'll give pictures, diagrams, and step by step instructions on what to do. be ready for a lot of work though
