Default engine tick

ok so they say when it rains it pours i replace the transmission to the tune of $1,300 dollars and find out after that it was only the speed sensor for $150 dollars so i fix that and as im driving home from the garage i used i get this ticking in the engine so i get home and do an oil change figured it needed one but the tick hasn't gone away wondering if its a oil sending unit failure or am i going to have to shell out for a new motor now

btw: vechile is 1994 jimmy with the vortec 4.3L (w) code motor with 120k miles

Default RE: engine tick

I'd bet money that the shop forgot to tighten one of the flex plate to torque converter bolts.
