Engine won't start, help please!
Hey guys, I am getting my butt kicked by my '02 blazer. I have had this truck since the start and have maintained it well. Last week, started noticing that under heavy accelerations, truck would hesitate. If I stepped on the gas too hard, I could get it to stall. The problem was intermittent and Saturday, she ran great. On Sunday, it wouldn't start at all. I checked for spark, had a spark on all 6 cylinders. Checked gas and had 55psi on the rail and it dropped right after prime. I replaced the fuel pump (GM mechanic told me I had to have at least 60 psi) with no luck. I have checked timing between crankshaft and rotor, it is OK (at TDC, rotor points to #1). Engine turns over, but won't start. Occasionally, it will backfire after cranking. The security light is not blinking while cranking, but the CEL is on during cranking. Any pointers would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Replaced the distributor and rotor and it started right up. No visible damage to either.
