Default Factory Warranty Claims?

Well, I am comming up on my last 2 months of my factory warranty on my truck which has 28k original miles on it. Knock on wood, so far everything is working well. I was wondering if anyone suggests anything particular I try to bring it in for warranty replacement or looking at before it's gone. Thanks!!

Fuel sending unit which is attached to the fuel pump. They both will fail eventually with the sending unit going earlier normally. Just tell them that every now and then your gas guage will go from full to empty, stay there for a little while and then go back to full. It is a well known problem and they shouldn't even question you on it even if the can't replicate it. The might even replace your fuel pump and it is all sold as one unit normally.

There are a few others I can think of offhand but nothing that comes to mind that you could "fake" like the fuel sending unit.

Thanks AJ! I thought about the fuel pump, but wondered if it was something better left untouched "if its not broke, why fix it?" senario. I never get below half a tank unless im driving highway, which is very rare these days. Funny you mention the sending unit and fuel guage as I have noticed some actual flexing in the guage from time to time. but only by 1/4 tank margins. I am going to call the dealer today.
