Default firing order

I have a 1984 2.8 v6 4 x 4 that is carburated. On the distributor cap I know where number 1 piston fires from and that it turns clockwise does the wires follow suit with the next one going clockwise number 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6? Also does anybody know what size the water pump bolts are? I am missing the bottom two on the right side and what size the bolts are that hold the alternator bracket to the head? Thanks!

I believe the firing order is 1,6,5,4,3,2.
Not sure about the bolts. You may ahve to call the dealer and get the right ones.

Per Autozone.com under Repair Info:
Code:
Firing order 1-2-3-4-5-6 -------
                                      front | 1 3 5 |
                                        of | |
 Distributor rotates clockwise vehicle | 2 4 6 |
                                              -------
