Hey guys I have been searching for some time and I need some help. I have a 96 blazer and had the p1870 code that I have been limping along until I got my parts in... Well yesterday while driving I stopped to turn left. After the turn it would not shift out of first. Speedo will work, rev works, and won't shift manually out of first. I was limping back to the house 1/4 mile. I could get to about 25 mph and the rpms where at like 5000. No shift if I let off the gas just rpm drop to idle. Like when you push the clutch in on a stick. But when I press on the gas again it won't catch until the rpms are back up to 5000 then I can retain some speed. I have never seen an automatic do that and I am at a loss.... Please help!!!!
