Its not actually the float that gets stuck but the needle valve that the float controls. If you can somehow drain the gas out of the bowl and try 'tapping' the bowl, that might get the needle valve unstuck. I am not familiar with your exact carb but I do know them in general, so I can't tell you whether or not you can remove just the bowl while the carb is in place.

its the 2se carb rochester varajet,if that helps,,is there not a way to slide my finger in the front or back bbl to try to move the needle cause im not smelling any fuel out of the carb????
