Flooding Issue?

Recently my 1999 S10 blazer has been starting hard when the temp outside changes from warm to cold. My Grandpa said that it seems to be a flooding issue, so he told me to hold the gas peddle down and crank over the engine for two to three seconds at a time until it starts up. This has been working, but something seems to be wrong. We changed the coolant temp sensor about a year ago so maybe this could be the problem again? Once the engine is started, it will continue to start the rest of the day, but its starting to spit and sputter before it idles smooth. I guess I'm puzzled on whats wrong, fuel pump is fine and fuel pressure is good as it holds at around 60psi. Any help would be greatly helpful as I'm getting really tired with this GM product. Thanks everyone.

Dirty poppet nozzles? Fouled ignition components (cap, rotor, and/or plugs)?
When was the last time you ran any injector cleaner through the tank? How about a tune up?
Have you done any DIY maintenance; Clean throttle body & IAC bore? Clean the EGR valve? Clean the MAF sensor? Most of which are detailed in the Tech Article (DIY) section.

New Cap and Rotor, and I just ran some injector cleaner through 2 tanks of fuel. Never did clean anything, would I just use carb cleaner to clean all components? Never took it in for a Tune up, what does a Tune up consist of?
