In a 1998 Chevy Blazer 4wd 4.3 which way does the flywheel go in.

Does the lip side face the engine or the transmission? I cant seem to find a good picture online.

Im pretty sure the lip side goes toward the engine.

Look for the witness marks from the mounting bolts, if its a stick, finished side to the tranny.
