Default Fuel Economy 2003 4x2

Just purchased a 2003 one owner with 60000 miles, just updated the computer with just over 1 gig of information in an effort to get better gas mileage, was 16 mpg at 75 mph. My 1999 5.7 lt gets 16.4 at 75 mph was hoping for around 20 mpg.

Any suggestions?

any one of the economy related threads in the 'related threads' table below. Mileage is highly dependent on gearing, vehicle condition, and driver.

Better gas mileage and 75 mph don't belong in the same sentence or even paragraph. Air resistance is one of the biggest factors of fuel economy. Faster you go, the more resistance there is. Learn to drive slower and you'll get better mileage. You'll be surprised how good of mileage you can get with more conservative driving.
