Default Fuel filled plenum

1993 S10 blazer with a 4.3L Vortec V6 ENGINE CODE W CPI 100k+ mile

Lets skip the story behind the injector and claim it as of now used and of unknown origin.

My blazer ran on the old fuel spider but rough and 1 cylinder was totally dead but it did have spark my finger unwillingly confirmed that one. Though now it will not even try and start on the new one all wires were hooked up. I cranked it cranked over 4 times then a dead halt would not crank again... Well I got out and checked the wiring was hot to the touch... I smelled gas when I opened the throttle body, so I popped it off.

To my sheer terror I see 2" of fuel sitting in the upper plenum... thinking to myself its nothing to worry about its just the side hoses (I think its called the nut kit?) I turned the key to prime the system and nothing not a drip from the lines.... but a shrill squeek emerged from the injector and lasted about 3 sec I saw my leak I was pouring fuel out of the 6 1 1/2" holes in the intake... I think I may have locked my engine What do I do now.

IT never even tried to fire. I am terrified this engine I just put in is toast.

Default

Pull the plugs and crank it over to blow out all of that gas. Change the oil if it got gas in it and hope the engine is ok.
