Default Fuel inside intake manifold 95 4.3 CPI ??????

Ok, so i started taking my new engine apart, so i can drop it in my blazer, i've taken all the accsessories off, and now the upper intake manifold is off, but i found fuel inside of it... the truck it came from had 100k miles on it and was said to run great before the accident, but i'm sure the fuel in the intake manifold is not normal, anyone have any ideas?

Blown fuel pressure regulator is the most likely cause.

Well you need to determine where that leak is coming from for sure. If it looks like the pic, then it's probably the FPR, as swartlkk indicated. Remove the upper intake and pressurize the system. Of course if you have another one that works fine, you could use that, whatever "it" is. You can check out my DIY article on this for some more info.
