Default fuel lines

I have a 1984 2.8 V6 carburated engine. I put in a 1988 2.8 V6 which didn't have a hole for a mechanical fuel pump so I installed a electric pump. I figured out that the big line 3/8 size came from the fuel tank as the supply line so I tied it to the carb. I can't figure out what the 1/4 size line that comes out of the frame along side of the 3/8 line goes to. It has a rubber hose hooked to the end of it. Any ideas? Thanks
