Default fuel pump changed and won't start

Ok first I have a 1997 S10 Blazer LS 4.3 Vortec, problem started when my truck shut off while driving down the road tried to start it but pump wouldn't even make a sound. I changed out fuel pump and it runs like a dream but the engine will not start, sprayed ether in starts for about a second n then turns off. Disconnected the fuel line from the input of the Spider Assembly and has plenty of pressure though a pressure test has not been done. What r the chances that all 6 of the injectors could be clogged at once from the new pump? Any help would be great Im about to just put a rag in the tank and light a match.

We had a fuel pump stop working today about 5 miles into a test drive after replacing the engine. Beating on the tank got it to run for a second then it stopped.

Looked under the nose of the S10 and found the plug to the crankshaft sensor had not seated well and when hitting about 3500 RPM in second gear on take off it died like a rock.

The fuel pump was fine after the connector was properly seated.

Sometimes one can have two problems at the same time and that is a pain.
