Default fuel vent box????

what is the box that has fuel lines running to it on the drivers side between the bumper end and the frame rail? Is it a charcoal/vent box? Can I safely ermove it...I am installing new shackles and need room to hammer out the bolts...any help is appreciated...once I get it lifted and get it all done up, I will post some pics

Default RE: fuel vent box????

Yes, it is the evap/charcoal canister. You can temporarily remove it to gain the room you need. It will need to be reinstalled.
