ok just to update found that my loss in power is maf now I'm hoping its either just cleaning will fix or its just a bad connection but other than that everything is good

how did you determine that was the problem?? im thinkn that may be my problem aswell

By disconnecting it and test driving and I also was lucky that all I needed was to spray it with maf corner and it now performs with it connected

I can unplug mine and nothing changes I havnt drove it while unplugged but at 1/4 throttle it does nothing I cleaned itbut no changes im thinkn that may be my problem

if theres no change that could be it mine was causing my truck to run to lean so when i unplugged it it got its power back than after cleaning it i pluged it back in an now i have power. try driving with it unplugged

I had a similar problem with my 96 LS 4.3...I changed plugs, wires, cap n rotor, and injector spider...
I finally replaced the distributor and it runs normal again
Try replacing the distributor I paid about $125 for a new one that came with cap n rotor.
Its worth a try...

thats about the only thing i havnt changed other than the MAF
