going from 4wd to 2 wd

Default going from 4wd to 2 wd

ok here is my ? i have a 99 blazer i just put brand new tiers on rear i tried to go from 4 wd to 2 wd and when it did it sounded and felt a big slam when it went to 2wd never did it last week with old tiers so since i didnt put new ones on front is that why its going into 2 wd real hard

Are the tires the same brand and size?

same size but different brand front tiers ar about bald , couldnt afford all 4 at once

The only factor your tires played in it is too much traction. your drivetrain was bound up and oyu forced it to release while under pressure. Next time don't drive on dry pavement.
