Got a '99 2 door 4.3 with 82,000 miles. The problem I have is when the truck has been operating for 30-45 minutes the tranny has a hard 1-2 shift. Wondering if anybody is having the same problem or a solution. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

 

Run a search. I know this has been discussed before. I seem to remember posting a TSB on this condition.

Search for something like "harsh 1-2 shift" or similar terms.

i had a problem like that to turned out to be an ignition switch. cuz the trans runs thro the ignition switch
