well unfortuneately after fixing a few things, it made things worse so now i have to replace the cam shaft, lifters, and/or rockers, something seriously messed up now. either that or im contemplating just putting a new motor in it. so if anyone knows someone in the central texas area that has a 98-2000 motor, please send them my way. the motor is too worn for a rebuild
