I have a 94 s-10 blazer 4x4 with a 4.3 V6 engine. I bought the truck off craigslist about a year ago and it has ran fine until the other day. When I got the truck I noticed that the acceleration wasnt that great but didn't think anything else about it. The other day I started it and it idled fine but when I went to give it gas it started sputtering really bad. I don't know what the problem could be and I could hope you guys could help me out. Even going down the road i can floor it and it sounds like its going to shut off and it starts shaking really bad. Once I get out of school and start it it smokes a little white smoke and thats it. It runs fine the rest of the day until the next morning. I have no idea what it could be. Hope you guys can help me out. Thanks!

 

To list a few things (and by no means all things)... Bad plugs. Clogged Cat. Clogged fuel filter. Weak fuel pump. ... Basically, you have to do some routine maintenance (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, & fuel filter) to make sure that it isn't something simple. Also go over the EGR valve and vacuum lines to make sure they are all working properly.
