I have a 98 chevy blazer. it starts and runs just fine but recently i have noticed that when i let off the gas in any gear it will rev up just fine then come down and bog just a bit. and if im going in reverse ad turn the wheel sharp i had it stall out. i just cant figure out why it is doing this. i also have a problem where it is running pretty hot. i sits at about 220 for temp when driving at about 30 to 40 but when i go below that it will sit about 240 and sometimes jump up above that. i dont know why it is doing this and i dont want to go on any long distance trips if its going to over heat on me. Please help

 

stalling i am not sure.

temps though...have you checked or recent replaced thermostat?
is your coolant system full? or have air in it?

 

the system is full i checked that yesterday and no the thermostat has no been replaced or checked.. is there a way to check it with out taking the whole thing apart

 

Just gotta remove the thermostat. As far as the stalling, sounds like you need a new distributor cap and rotor. Mine did the same thing before I did a complete tune up. I replaced the plugs and wires first, still did it, then I did the cap and rotor and that took care of it. Just be sure to use delco!

 

That's too hot. Look around the forum for water pump symptoms.
