Default RE: HELP! STUCK IN 4

i disconnected the battey and now the button works only in reverse or neutral but it won't engage or disengage. i hear it trying to but it does not work. all i hear is noise from the trasfer case trying to get it out of 4??? i recently changed transfer case switch on top of the t case in hopes of getting the 4 to work properly but still come up with the same old BS.
