Default help with transmission price

hi, my transmission is definitely gone. no reverse doesnt shifts to second whenever it feels like it.
spinnin the driveshaft i can hear all kinds of stuff goin on in the transmission.

before i call some places...i wanted to see what you guys said about how much it should cost to have a shop do it. i guess just rebuildin it? i dont know.

hello
i have 2002 4wd auto
i just got aremanufacturedin kansas city areafor $2400
3 years 50k miles warranty
the 2400 was 1600 trans and 800 labor
i asked around and didnt see much different.
it sucked doing it
but now i can get to work
that was our summer vacation out the window

2WD or 4WD? I know it's a trek from FL to MA, but S10warehouse has one for 395+400 shipping. Had 63K on it though, might be worth a look...

yea s10warehouse rules, i buy stuff from them off ebay.
its 4x4.
im tight on money tho....just paid off my cards, and im layed off, so i gotta charge everything. kinda sucks. the guy 2 minutes from said he'd rebuild it for 1000. guess thats good for now. im so tired of havun that truck apart...i really dont wanna havta remove and install the tranny.
