hesitation/hiccup/bucking @ 2k rpm.. ideas?

Did you ever fix this issue?? Mine is doing the same exact thing, along with countless others I have come accross. However no one seems to be able to say for sure what the fix was. 96 4.3L 2door, I was told to replaced Fuel Pressure Regulator - I did and still nothing. Any advice on this issue would be GREAT.
