hesitation/hiccup/bucking
I had a problem with my 96 blazer. It was having trouble starting, bucking really bas when maintaing speed around 2 rpms, and sometimes hesitating during acceleration. First thing i went for was the throttle position sensor, and that change the problem. In some ways it helped, but on the other hand it made the bucking worse when maintaining speed. When i hooked it to a computer the tps came up and so did the ects (engine coolant temperature sensor), so i changed the ects and the problem has disapperared. Now i get smooth acceleration, steady rpms at idle speeds, and no problems starting. The part was easy to change and only cost around $20. Hopefully this will help someone, and thanks to the forum for helping me.

RE: hesitation/hiccup/bucking
This si good stuff. I have the same issue with the engine I just replaced. It is rare but around 2k it stumbles a little. if i let it down a little it is fine. I also have this at very easy accel from a take off. It is subtle but there. I will check the codes and see what I have.
thanks for the post.
