Default high idle

I just got a 1996 blazer and it was sitting at a tow yard for about a year. I have changed all fliids put in new radiator, plugs, wires. It idle high when you shift into gear and when driving and dies when you stop and take off from stop light ect. Any info or suggestions greatly appreciated and if there is some more I can do to get it back in shape please share.

I would start by checking for a vacuum leak. After that check MAP / MAF / TPS and make sure the throttle blade is closing all the way. Those sensors are the major sensors that are air related and could affect idle speed.
