Default How do I set the timing

Alright today I pulled my intake manifold to replace the gasket. I didn't even need to pry it off. I had trouble getting my distributor back in as it came out. I did manage to get it back in, however it seems to be one toth off. How do I set the timing on theis engine.

I know, I should have set it to TDC before I took it apart, but I didn't....

I know swart posted it once before and I tried a search which came up blank. Meybe he sent it to me in an email...

Regardless I need to now how to set the timing on this engine.

EDI Engine Timing

I don't know why I remember the quirky little search terms to find all of these type posts, but I do... LOL

Good luck Tim!

Thanks Swart.
I found it and finsihed up my truck. Just got back from my test drive. Seems to be running a ton better. I didn't want to push it too hard the first time out. I run it through its paces tomorrow on my way home from work.

You ever make it out this way, the first couple rounds are on me.
