How to get transmission out of 95 blazer

Default How to get transmission out of 95 blazer

How do you guys get at a the top two bolts of the bell housing ?

Take off the cross member and lower slowly then use a 3ft ext. on your socket

On mine (i pulled the motor) i took out all the body to frame bolts except the back 2 and jacked the body up from the frame far enough for (2) 2x4's to fit between the frame and body mounts behind the front fender. Made all the differance!
