idles fine but bogs out when u give it gas

Default idles fine but bogs out when u give it gas

i just put a new fuel spider, map sensor,throttle body but it still bogs out after u give it gas it idles fine any suggestions?

Check the Fuel pressure, Sounds like the pump is going.

Idles, but won't let you drive? Bogs out, does it sputter at all?

It could be a clogged Catalytic Converter, I've seen this happen before.

its start a little ruff but like 5 seconds later it idles fine but once u give it any gas it starts to bog out,thank u i think thats what it is. does it need compression through it too? cuz my dad drilled a hole in it dont know y lol

try unplugging your mass air flow sensor - the engine will kick into a default mode without the sensor and if it runs better without it then have yours tested.

worked like a charm for me - mine had no power above 45 mph, valves rattleing at 3500 rpms, transmission acted like it was shot - wouldn't downshift right.

Good idea.

That reminds me is it throwing a CEL? if so what are the codes?
