my blazer had no 1st gear and no o.d. and would not automatically shift , i replaced the tranny with a 4l80e and it is still not shifting automatically.. i am very confused, since this new tranny had no problems when tested, this can only mean an electrical problem right? what should i look for and can i take a computer out of a v-8 model and swap the eprom with mine or should i get one out of a same year blazer and directly swap it in?
