I would back track over the distributor cap install and make sure everything is correct including how it sits on the distributor body itself. I have seen some of them be off to one side due to bad plastic molding allowing for an increased gap to certain cylinders.

well i put the nut kit(inlet/outlet lines)in and she woudnt
start, then i changed back to the old dist cap and she
fired up but still running very rough. it still seems like it is wet inside
on the passenger side, not sure if the new one is allready leaking or if something else is.
is there anything else that could be leaking fuel in there?

forgot to ask also..what the firing order is on the engine block
what cylinders are 1,3,5 and what ones are 2,4,6 and are they
on the left or right starting from front to rear if standing in front
of the truck.

The driver side of the engine is 1, 3, 5 from front to back. Passenger side 2, 4, 6 - again, from front to back.

Firing order is 6,1,2,3,4,5.

When you pressurized the fuel system before putting the upper intake plenum back on, did you notice any leaks? If you did not do this, you might want to do it now. Wetness inside the intake is not good...

well i didnt clean it when i put the spider in,but i thought it should
be dry by now after driving it around and getting it up to temp.
and i didnt check it while i had the plinum cover off but i did turn on
the key and look at it,,didnt see any leak,,guess ill have to take it back off
and look again. thanks swartlkk.

ok,,turns out i had #5 and six cylinder wires backwards on the
distributer cap,,switched them back and walla.
gonna go for a ride now and see if its good or needs some
more $$$$$$$.

thank you for your time and help swartlkk.

rowe.

well took it out for a ride and she has alot more
power but seems to have a slight steady miss and full
power is not all there yet but alot better, any other thought on what
i can check?
