Default K5 (305) has no spark. replaced almost everything!

Hello,
I have an '83 blazer w/ a 305 engine. All of a sudden it has no spark.

I have:
1) replaced entire distributor (including module and condensor)
2) replaced cap and rotor (including coil)
3) checked that I do have 12v at coil.

What else could be wrong here? I know I'm not getting spark as I've used a timing light and examined the plugs directly.

Thanks for the help!, my plow is useless w/o this truck!

So nothing in the ignition system was reused? The ignition module in the bottom of the distributor was new as well?

That's correct! The ignition module in the bottom of the distributor, as well as the condenser, are both new. They came as a set w/ the distributor (http://www.autozone.com/R,1200171/ve...ductDetail.htm).

No parts were re-used, unless there are parts I do not know about! Hence a lot of confusion...

Bump.

Still having this problem any ideas?

Is there a computer under the dash that could be malfunctioning?

83? No computer. You have power going to the distributor? If so, do you have power to the coil? The coil is in the cap. If you have power going into the distributor then it should be going to the coil in an HEI dis. I would suspect the coil if you have power. Are you sure you got a good distributor? I know people who have gone through tons of auto zone distributors. If you are still stumped check out www.coloradok5.com. Run a search on there, or ask. Knowing those guys they will lead you where you need to go, awesome site!
