keep breaking bell housings

Default keep breaking bell housings

[&:]i have a problem. i have a 1987 s10 blazer with a 2.8l and 5 speed that keeps cracking the bell housing. i have replaced the clutch and flywheel. also the engine and tranny mounts, the tranny. i have replaced the motor but the same problem occurs. i did not replaced any of the fuel injection or computer. the motor is out of a 86 camaro.
any help would be appreciated

Are all the support rods still in place? Still seems to be a common problem in manual trucks that I've found.

i dont have all of the rods. i found some in a junk yard from a 4.3 auto and was able to use a couple but i cant find any 2.8 manuals that have the rods. any idea where i can get them new possibly as a kit?

you may be looking in the wrong place. is your rear drive shaft balanced? is your rear end in good shape, got worn out gears? How are your u-joints? Got a broken axle mount? IS the tranny cross brace tightly bolted to teh frame?
