HID Lights on Stock Reflector Housings
I just wanna say guys, i just installed a pair of 8,000k HID's on my 1997 chevy blazer, and wow, they work great. I've seen all the threads around the net saying this or that, but don't fear, get em' if you want.
I havn't had a single person flash me (I readjusted my lights, to point them just a smidgen more down then they were.) And glare hasn't been a problem at all.
My buddy installed HID's on his blazer, WITH projector housings, and they look like junk and have a horrible pattern.
Just thought i'd put my 2 cents in over the whole HID debate

thanks for the heads up...got a brand/part number of what you used? and have you noticed any drop in light intensity with idle (stock alternator)?

I don't have the exact part number or brand off hand, but when i go out to my truck (where the box is) i'll post it on here. I bought em' from INTENSEHID.com. They were great, i had a load of questions for them, but they emailed me back the next day, shipping was free too =D
Like i said, they're installed on a 97' blazer with the single composite headlight assembly, so i have no idea what it looks like with a older (sealed beam) or a newer with the smaller lens.
