key stuck in ignition, trans slipping in drive
I parked my truck last night everything worked great. i go to leave this morning i back out just fine put it in drive and it barely moves. I pull back in my driveway mess around with the key and shifter finally the key comes out. I put the key back in start it up put it in drive and it works fine. drive to my friends house same thing all over again key wont come out of ignition and barely moves in drive. I changed the nss switch thinking it was that but still no go.any ideas i am stumped. i know mechanically the transmission works fine but if you cant get the key out it barely moves in drive. reverse works fine if i am correct reverse is not electrically controlled just mechanically. shift interlock solonoid, stoplight switch, ignition switch? any help greatly appreciated.

The ignition switch shouldn't prohibit the rotation of the ignition lock cylinder, but I suppose it could happen if things were to break inside it. I guess I would start there.
