Unhappy Leaking Coolant-HELP!

Ok, I just bought my 2000 Blazer a few months ago, and here is the history so far from my ownership.
Bought with around 199,000 miles on it. Now has 202,xxx miles on it. Took it on a cross country trip with no problems.

Cracked windshield since date of purchase- not a big deal

Turn signal clicking every now and then while turn signal is not on- will fix when something actually stops working

Alernator went out- replaced with new one, also got a new battery

Small oil leak- Changed the oil and filter, seems to not be leaking now

And now for the fun part:
I live in Lincoln, NE and decided to head up to Omaha for a little trip to buy something on CL.
Before we left, I mentioned to my fiance that for once, the temp seemed to go a little higher than usual. We both dismissed it.

Got to Omaha, realized something was leaking. Drove a few miles to a gas station to fill up, then when I got out of the truck to fill her up, I noticed what I thought was brake fluid on the drivers side of the truck. Turned out it wasn't brake fluid at all. We looked underneath the truck and it is leaking coolant.
The leak is right underneath the radiator. All the way across basically. Neither of us can see where it is coming from. None of the hoses seem to be leaking. It still has me stumped on why it would be all over the side of the truck, and why it would just randomly start leaking. Never leaked before this little trip. We drove it back to Lincoln, after putting some water in the radiator. There was still a pretty good amount of coolant in there.

Now that we are back home, it has been a few days with just daily drving. And it only seems to leak after driving and getting up to temp, did notice it going higher when I was in the drive thru at dairy queen ( sorry, I am pregnant, had a craving, and I wanted my darn icecream. lol )
I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what it could be. I am assuming that there is a probably a crack in the radiator somewhere. Also, how hard is it to do ourselves? We usually do all our own work, but it looks pretty cramped in there compared to my 94 Lumina, 95 Cavalier, and 94 Camaro. I am not trying to overpay a mechanic, but I am not trying to get it started then realize there is no way in hell he and I can do it. Thanks in advance for any advice. And like I said before it is a 2000 Chevy Blazer
it has the 4.3l Vortec and is 4x4 with over 200,000 miles now...buy she is rust free and clean...no other serious problems.

yup, sounds like either crack in the plastic end caps of the rad OR (i just had this happen to me) the plastic ends of the rad are crimped and there is a gasket in there that may be leaking.

mine would only leak when it was cold, once the engine warmed up everything would expand and plug my leak.

by happy its not the intake gasket lol

I have seen a few of these radiators have a crack in the plastic tank on the drivers side. It is usually towards the top on the front side.

Thanks guys, I got a pretty good look yesterday, and it seems there is a crack on each side of the radiator on the plastic part and a nice size crack at the bottom of the radiator. Looks like I am gonna have to go get me a new one. Thought about some JB weld for a temp fix until I actually pop out this baby and can actually do some work. 3 days until due date, so might have to wait. But on the plus side, it is nice to know that it isn't something more serious. I would have had to just sell her. I am having bad luck with cars recently.
