Default Trany question

Will a transmission and transfer case from a 96 jimmy 4 door with a 4.3l fit a 04 blazer 2 door with 4.3l.

I asked the guy selling the trany and trans case for type but he didn't know and he lives out of town so I can't realy drive there to look at it.

I really only need the transfer case but having a spare trany would be nice .

Any help is much appreciated

I would not recommend the transmission, but if you are only looking for the transfer case... Your truck may not have a compatible transfer case control system and the transmission is a downgrade as far as I am concerned. You need to identify what transfer case you have and get exactly that transfer case.
