Have any of you put in a lexus 1fuz v8 engine in a blazer?seeing that it's a 4.0l would it be a hassle to fit onto the stock transmission.

 

i dont see why you would go through the headache, when a 350 basically bolts right in.
the hassle to bolt to the stock trans is more that it's a toyota...

 

just thought it would be nice seeing that those engines(complete With auto box) are really cheap this side and vice versa with the 350's.only concern i'm having is there a way to keep my 4x4 or do i have to ditch it with such a transplant.

 

probably easier to swap in with a r154? or whatever the hilux trans is.
