Default Limp mode

I have a 98 blazer 4x4 and I replaced all the solenoids in the transmission hoping it would fix the issue but it didn’t it won’t go out of second gear it just revs and stays in second and around the same time that happened I got a battery light on I had everything tested and it was fine the only codes I have are p0147 P0146 I haven’t messed with that much yet but any help would be good also the outside temp, gear selector, and 4x4 indicator lights stoped working all around the same time as it went into limp mode.

What was the result of checking those three fuses?

This may be a wiring problem since the fuses are ok. Did the O2 sensor codes also show up at the same time or were those before the transmission problems?

Do you have and know how to use a digital multimeter to do some testing?

The power for the shifting solenoids comes from the Clstr Fuse which also powers some of the dash indicators. I had hoped that the fuse was blown, explaining the loss of power for those items common to that power circuit. Since that is not the case, there may be a wiring problem in that power circuit downstream of that fuse or before the fuse. First check that 12v is coming into that fuse with the ignition in the run position. Then check to see if 12v power for the solenoids is making it to the transmission connector from that fuse, I suspect not. You will need to remove the connector and probe pin "E"/pink wire on the harness side with the ignition in the run position. Be careful not to damage the connectors by forcing large probes into the socket connectors. Report back.
