Talking losing my freaking mind

97 blazer fuel pump went out. sat for 4 yrs. I bought it and replaced pump. now it runs great until I (put my foot on brake) put it in gear. then it slams to a stop and dies. feels like if you had a manual trans and tried to stop without engaging the clutch. I don't even know where to start. and NO, it's not a vacuum leak. HELP PLEASE!

Something is not right. That is not a valid code. Have you checked the fuses to see if they are good?

sounds like the torque converter clutch is locked up and staying engaged - check your wiring harness leading to and at the transmission for damage and lose conections
