Question Lost 3rd gear and OD

I bought a 1997 s10 Blazer 4x4. But by the time i got it home, I lost 3rd gear and OD
It will get to 30 mph then it feels like i went into neutral.
I replaced the transmission filter. but i still only have, rev, 1st and 2nd gear.
It's an automatic. Any one have an idea what's wrong?

Things that are wrong:

1) You seem to not know how to use a search engine.

2) Your spelling and punctuation are incorrect. ( okay, I'll stop...)

3) Sounds like the 3-4 clutches are toast in your transmission.

It will either need to be replaced or rebuilt. Did you check the fluid before you purchased the Blazer? If not, how did the fluid look and smell when you changed the filter? Any metal shavings in the pan when you dropped it? I suppose the answers to those questions do not really matter at this point...

There is a really good thread here following a 4L60E rebuild. I think it was Ed AC 78 that did it. Search for it!!
