Default low fuel light never shuts off?????

i just did a transmission swap in my 2001 blazer. i got it all running and ready to go it drives great but my low fuel light is on and won't go off and it isn't registering how much fuel is in the truck even though i just put 30 dollars in the tank. i'm thinkin its a plug that wasn't plugged in or somethin. where would that be located at if so? any help would be greatly appreciated
