Default MAF unit

when checking the MAF should there be continuity between the hot lead and the ground lead. I’m also only getting 4 volts on the signal lead. Supposed to be 5? Any ideas guys. Thanks in advance.

Sorry but what are you working on, and why are you working on it? Let's have the details. It's the only way things are interesting to us, as well as possible to answer.

2001 S10 Blazer zr2. Starts right up idles rough, push on the gas and it has no power. Won’t go over 5-10mph. Code po101,102. MAF codes. Someone said the MAFs signal and ground post should have continuity. Mine doesn’t. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Probably not quite that simple. I suggest you start by studying what makes P0101 and P0102 codes set. Description is here.

https://blazerforum.com/forum/tech-a...agnosis-26408/

Once you understand that, then the factory troubleshooting charts are there as well. It would be useful to have a digital volt-ohm meter and an OBD2 scanner that will read live data (specifically the MAF sensor value as the PCM sees it).

Specific questions please ask.
