had the intake gasket changed 100miles ago,blazer ran fine until the other day. I was pulling out the motor was fine and then it wouldn't shift,i left off the accelerator and it died,tried to restart and it acted as if the battery was dead.I called the shop that did the work and they advised the battery or alternator went bad,checked battery it was dead so I replaced it.The next day it was fine so I started to drive it,all of a sudden the voltage dropped a bit,a few seconds later the motor started to rap and I lost all oil pressure,I had the blazer towed to the shop and they are telling me the motors shot. Today I went to the garage ans started it since it's been outside since Friday,oil pressure is good,voltage is good but the motor is tapping,did the garage mess something up or does anyone have any thoughts on what's wrong?
