I have a 98 blazer and thought we'd be able to swap the current motor with a 350. When we got the motor out we realized that the motor isn't even a 4.3 like we had thought because the transmission isn't even for a 4.3. I bought the truck from my mom with a blown motor. We think this is a 3.8 that's already in it. Could it be anything else?

They only came with a 4.3 so if its anything else its already had a swap done to it at some point.

 

I'll get a pic when I'm with the vehicle this evening and yeah we found out it's already had a swap when we went to pull it but are going to swap again because it is blown.
