Default Multiple Blazer Issues

Hey guys, i've been searching the forum and couldn't quite find my issues so I thought I would post them and see what you think.

I have a 98' Blazer that has recently started giving me fits. It has 151,000 miles on it and I have had it 10 years. I starts on the first crank in the morning, but when I drop into reverse to back out no matter how much gas I give it just eases out of the garage for about 5 seconds then takes off. After it is warmed up good I don't get the issue anymore. (I'm thinking transmission)

Also on the highway if I hold it at around 61-64 mph the rpms rev up and down like I was stomping in the gas then quickly letting off. If I get up over 65 and set the cruise it runs fine. I have no idea whats up with that.

Any help you can give would be great!

Sounds like a torque converter issue. I had an old Ram that had a problem with the check valve that holds fluid in the torque converter. Some Lucas Transfix made it much more manageable.
